Terms & Conditions
- The promotion is open to all active MTN Mobile Money customers in Zambia aged 18 years and above who hold an active and KYC-compliant Mobile Money wallet during the promotion period.
- No registration is required or opt-in is required. Qualification is automatically determined based on eligible Mobile Money transaction activity during the promotion period.
- Eligible transaction types and minimum transaction values (if applicable) shall be determined by MTN and may be communicated during the promotion.
- Only successful transactions completed within the promo period will be considered.
- Fraudulent, reversed, artificial, simulated or manipulative transactions, or any conduct intended to unfairly influence the promotion, will result in immediate disqualification at MTN’s discretion.
- Five (5) Winners will be selected monthly based on predefined performance criteria determined by MTN. MTN’s decision shall be final.
- Each customer may win a maximum of one (1) monthly prize per cycle.
- Each ZMW 100,000.00 monthly prize winner may win only once during the promotion period.
- Monthly prizes are credited directly to the winner’s MTN Mobile Money wallet.
- The Grand Prize (House) winner will be selected from eligible Tier 3 and 4 customers who cumulatively qualify and remain active throughout the promotion period, subject to MTN’s verification procedures.
- The house prize is awarded “as is” and ownership transfer shall be subject to applicable legal processes.
- The house prize is non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash.
- 11MTN reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the promotion subject to regulatory approval.
- By participating, winners consent to the use of their names and images for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
- All winners shall be contacted directly by MTN Mobile Money through phone calls or text messages originating from 115, 11, or 215, and will be advised on the prize collection process.
- Any taxes or statutory charges arising from the prizes shall be the responsibility of the winner.
- The promotion shall be governed by the laws of Zambia.
- All MTN staff members and their legally recognized partners are excluded from participating in the promotion.
Eligibility, Offers & Promotions
- Eligibility: Only selected and contacted customers are eligible for the offer.
- Notification: Customers will receive notifications about the offer through SMS, outbound calls, or outbound IVR calls.
- Transaction Inclusion: All transactions conducted by the customer qualify for the offer.
- Offer Validity: The offer remains valid for seven calendar days from the communicated launch date for each customer. Only transactions completed within the stipulated period are eligible.
- Reward Distribution: Rewards are calculated from a predetermined total pool set by MTN Mobile Money Limited and will be disbursed no later than 48 hours after the offer’s end date.
- Terms & Conditions: Standard MTN Mobile Money terms and conditions apply. All additional offers, promotions, or product details should be interpreted independently from this promotion.
- Promotional Limits: Offers are specifically designed for transacting customers. MTN Mobile Money Limited reserves the right to restrict customer eligibility for any promotion or withdraw the availability of specific offers to individual customers.
Offer Recall
- Fraud Prevention: MTN Mobile Money Limited retains the right to withdraw any rewards (including cash, gifts, or bonuses) if a customer is found to have tampered with or exploited any promotional offer, product, or service.
- Instances of malpractice that result in guaranteed profits for customers due to promotional misuse may lead to disqualification from rewards.
- Customers may be required to provide adequate documentation verifying their identity under the Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations before rewards are credited.
