What is MTN Pulse?
This is a youth proposition by MTN targeting the youth in Zambia aged between 16 and 30.
What are MTN Pulse bundles?
These are Combo (voice & data) and data-only bundles that can be accessed via *117#.
How do I subscribe to MTN Pulse?
You can subscribe by dialling *117# and selecting option 5 or just dial *117*5#.
What’s the validity of these bundles?
These bundles have different validities, daily, weekly and monthly.
Can anyone buy these bundles?
Only Prepaid customers can buy these bundles.
Can I buy these bundles using Mobile money and My MTNApp?
Yes, customers can buy these bundles using their Mobile Money currently.
Can I call other networks when I am using these Bundles?
Yes, there are all net minutes and can call other networks.
Can I share my MTN Pulse bundles?
No, the minutes and data can not be shared.
How many times can I buy the offers?
As many times as you want. There is no limit.
Is it a must for a customer to register MTN Pulse buddies?
Yes. Customers can subscribe and purchase these bundles only when they have subscribed to MTN Pulse.
Can I use night calling without an activated bundle?
No, MTN Pulse night calling only works when you have purchased one of the pulse bundle.
What is the benefit of using MTN Pulse Buddies (Family & Friends)?
A customer can call 3 registered MTN numbers at discounted rates of 0.20Ngwee per minute. The current PAYG rate is 0.99Ngwee which means MTN Pulse Buddies is a great discount.
What are the benefits of Campus Location Calling?
All calls from within and across the major campuses/colleges to other MTN numbers are billed at 0.20 Ngwee/minute for those who have opted into the tariff via *117# option 5.
