Win School fees with MOMO Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern participation in the Win School Fees with MoMo promotional campaign (the “Campaign”), organized by MTN Mobile Money Zambia Limited (“MTN MoMo”). By participating in this Campaign, customers agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Campaign Details

• Campaign Name: Win School Fees with MoMo
• Campaign Period: Twelve (12) weeks from the official launch date, as communicated by MTN Zambia
• Eligible Channel: MTN MoMo via *115# – SchoolPay payments

MTN Mobile Money Zambia Limited reserves the right to amend the Campaign period at its discretion, subject to regulatory approval where required.

3. Eligibility

Participation in the Campaign is open to customers who meet all the following criteria:

1. Are registered MTN MoMo customers in Zambia.
2. Have completed valid Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements in line with applicable regulations.
3. Make a SchoolPay payment of not less than K1,000 using the MTN MoMo *115# channel during the Campaign period.
4. Use an account registered to an individual (business, agent, or corporate accounts are excluded).

Participation is automatic once the eligibility criteria are met. No additional entry is required.

4. How to Participate

The Campaign is conducted exclusively through the MTN MoMo USSD channel (*115#) using the SchoolPay option. The customer journey is as follows:

1. Dial *115# on a registered MTN number.
2. Select Option 3 – Payments.
3. Select Option 6 – Schools.
4. Select Option 2 – SchoolPay.
5. Select Option 1 – Pay Fees.
6. Enter the SchoolPay reference number or student number provided by the school.
7. Enter the amount to be paid (minimum qualifying amount is K1,000).
8. Confirm transaction details and enter MoMo PIN to complete payment.
9. Upon successful payment, the customer automatically qualifies for entry into the weekly draw.

• Each successful and eligible SchoolPay transaction earns the customer an entry into the weekly draw.
• Transactions must be successful and completed during the Campaign period to qualify for entry.

5. Prizes

5.1 Weekly Prizes

Each weekly draw will select a total of six (6) winners:

• Five (5) winners of MTN branded hampers.
• One (1) winner of school fees paid for one school term / semester.

5.2 Prize Conditions

• School fees will be paid directly to the school selected by the winner using the SchoolPay platform.
• No cash alternative will be offered for any prize.
• Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

6. Draw Mechanics

1. Draws will be conducted weekly on Thursdays using an approved randomised draw tool.
2. Eligible transactions will be those made during the Campaign period.
3. Winners will be verified against eligibility and KYC requirements before confirmation.
4. MTN MoMo reserves the right to disqualify any winner who does not meet eligibility criteria.

7. Winner Announcement

• Winners will be announced every Friday following the weekly draw.
• Announcements will be made on MoMo from MTN Zambia’s official social media pages.
• MTN MoMo may also contact winners directly using their registered contact details.

8. Prize Fulfilment/ Collection

8.1 MTN Branded Hampers

• Winners will be required to collect hampers from their nearest MTN Service Centre.
• Valid identification will be required at the point of collection.
• Hampers must be collected within seven (7) calendar days from the date of winner announcement.

8.2 School Fees Payment

• School fees will be paid directly to the winner’s selected school via SchoolPay on MoMo.
• Payment of school fees will be completed within seven (7) calendar days from the date of winner announcement.
• MTN MoMo representatives may meet the school fees winner at the selected school to facilitate the payment process.
• For verification and communication purposes, a photograph of the winner may be taken at the school as proof of prize fulfilment.
• By participating in the Campaign, winners consent to being photographed, and to the use of such images for Campaign communication, promotional, and publicity purposes across MTN Zambia platforms, without any additional compensation.

9. Exclusions and Disqualification

Participants may be disqualified from the Campaign if:

• The account is associated with fraud, misuse, or suspicious activity.
• The customer has incomplete or invalid KYC details.
• The customer attempts to manipulate or game the Campaign process.

Winners of school fees are not eligible to win any additional prizes for the duration of the Campaign.

10. Liability

MTN Mobile Money Zambia Limited shall not be liable for:

• Any technical failures, system outages, or transaction delays beyond its reasonable control.
• Any loss incurred by a participant due to incorrect details provided at the time of entry.

11. Data Protection

By participating in this Campaign, participants consent to the collection and processing of their personal data for Campaign administration, in accordance with MTN’s Data Protection and Privacy policies.

12. General Conditions

MTN Mobile Money Zambia Limited reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Campaign or these Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to regulatory requirements.
