How to Subscribe

1. Dial *560# and follow the menu options. 
2. Dial 5601 or dial 199 and follow the voice prompts.
3. Dial *560*XXX#, XXX is any number from 20 to 200, E.g., *560*100#.
4. Text NT space <yourname> to 5601 and follow the prompts to set your name as a Callertune. E.g., Text NT John to 5601. 
5. Text FIND space <songname> to 5601 to search and activate a tone. E.g., Text FIND Way Maker to 5601.

Subscription rates

You will be charged K1.92 every 30 days for each Ringback tune you activate.

1. Is the Caller ring back tone service available to all customers?

Yes, the service is available to all MTN Customers – prepaid, hybrid and post-paid.

2. Can I choose the tune I want?

Yes, there is a library through which you can browse and select the tune you want. Text FIND space <songname> to 5601 to search and activate a tone. E.g., Text FIND Way Maker to 5601.

3. Are there any key short-codes I can use to activate popular songs? 

Dial *560#

Dial *560*100# to set the top songs as caller tunes. 
Dial *560*165# to set Bible verses as caller tunes.

4. How much is a caller tune and how long do I get to have it?

It costs K1.92 per tune and is valid for 30 days.

5. Can I change the tune before the one I have expires?

Yes, you can, and you will be charged K1.92 for the new tune download.

6. What happens to my old tune after I download a new one?

The old tunes are stored in the library and when someone calls you, all the songs will be on shuffle i.e., your caller can listen to any tune in your library at that time.

7. Is there a way of copying a caller tune from a number I have called?

Yes, you can copy someone’s caller tune by pressing * (star button) while the tune is playing. 

8. How can I search for a specific tune/song? 

SMS Find<space>Songname to 5601, e.g, If song name is Mundowendowe, SMS Find Mundowendowe to 5601.

9. Can I set my name as a caller tune?

Yes, you can. SMS Nt<space> Name to 5601, e.g., if your name is Ben, SMS NT Ben to 5601 to activate.

10. How can I delete a particular tune from my library?

Dial *560# to deactivate a specific tune.

11. How do I unsubscribe from the CRBT service?

SMS STOP 5601
