MTN will be launching Weekend and Holiday bundles. These bundles that will be made available to MTN subscribers on Weekends and Holidays as per Zambian Calendar.
A Customers can find the bundle on the USSD *117#. These bundles are meant to promote recharges and usage during weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays and will follow the Zambian calendar in the table on the next slide.
The first Holiday bundle will be on 24th October 2022

- The bundles will only be visible on Weekends (Saturday 00:00hrs to Sunday 23:59hrs)
- The bundles will only be visible on Holidays from 00:00hrs to 23:59hrs)
- The weekend and holiday offers will be available to subscribers on *117#
- The offers will be available to prepaid and hybrid customers.
- The main data allocation (10GB) will deplete at a pulse of 10Kb.
- The K5 Unlimited Calling bundle is valid until midnight
- Voice Calling will be onnet (MTN to MTN)
- The Data depletion alerts to be shared at 80%, 90% and 100%
- When enabled, data bundle benefit should be visible on the balance check notification
- Multiple purchases of these bundles will not result in an accumulation of the bundle allocations.
- The bundle allocations will be valid from the time of purchase until Midnight (23:59hrs), i.e all unused volume of the data allocation will deplete at midnight of the day of purchase.
- Once the weekend and holiday data bundle allocation usage threshold is met, normal data billing rates will apply.
